Do not close your eyes for seconds, you may get to sleep back. It is best to put your alarm clock far from bed so you will have to get up to turn it off.
Schedule things
Make a list of all the tasks you need to do and schedule others you want to finish otherwise, this helps you to limit the workload and set a right time for rest and sleep. Avoid unimportant things such as watching tv late night so that it will not affect your sleeping time. If you are a fan of a show you can still watch them at later time through the internet.
